T2 Wk 4
This week we had Coaches James and Ryan from Auckland Rugby
League come in to take the Yr 5 and 6 boys for a training session. The boys thoroughly enjoyed themselves and
learned some good attacking and defensive skills. The Tamaki Cluster League tournament will be
in Week 6 at Mt Wellington Reserve.
This week also signalled the start of the AMI Yr 6-8 Netball
tournament that is played on a Tuesday afternoon. We have entered in a Yr 8 girls team called
the Maroonettes and a Yr 6 mixed team called the Sylvia Ferns. Both teams did remarkably well considering
for many it was their first experience of competitive netball.

The first 3 weeks will involve 30 minute grading games and
then we will switch to 4 x 10 min quarters for the remainder of the
season. Bring it on!
