T2 Wk 2
Te Manawa and Te Ropu O Nga Manakura are really enjoying the new Hockey skills being taught by the Auckland Hockey coaches. Despite some inclement weather the hockey has proceeded and the hall has been a good wet weather alternative.
Check out R18 and 19 Year 7's in action!

Hockey sticks are out for Term 2
T2 Wk 1
Welcome back to Term 2 where we will continue to see lots of sporting action. Te Manawa and Te Ropu O Nga Manakura students have started with Hockey. There has already been lots of positive feedback and by all accounts everyone is not only learning new skills but having lots of fun along the way.
The TM and TRONM teachers also had some fun this week when they attended a PLD session with Sandie from Auckland Hockey. She came into school to make sure us teachers were familiar with the basics - all to ensure that hockey can be continued throughout the school year as part of classroom active sport programmes.
From the clip below you can see that the teachers are quite a competitive bunch!
