Term 3 sports has started with a bang with the boys league team trialling and training for the Eastern Zone competition. We also had the Eastern Zone netball teams hitting the court in anticipation of their tournament in week 3 at AMI Netball courts in St Johns.
Last Sunday our Yr 6 Sylvia Ferns and Yr 7/8 Maroonettes netball teams played in an all day tournament at St Johns. The teams played 4 to 5 games each and you can imagine how tired they were at the end of the day! They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and a huge thanks to the wonderful parents and families that came and supported on the day.
Next week we have our Eastern Zone teams going out on their Netball (Tuesday with Mrs Key) and League (Thursday with Mr Timo). Good luck and play hard!
