T2 Wk 5
This week our Yr 7 & 8’s soccer teams represented SPS at
the Eastern Zone Soccer Tournaments. The
girls had a great day out on Tuesday with Mr C.
They had wins to both Bailey Road and Tamaki Schools and narrow losses
to Churchill Park and Glendowie Schools.
In the quarterfinals they were tied at full time, which then resulted in
a penalty shoot out. They went down 3-4
to Churchill. Great effort girls!
The boys travelled to Sacred Heart College on Thursday where they also met some fierce competition from our local schools. They played some hearty games and enjoyed their day’s experience.
